Hong Kong is turning me into one of those people who is CONSTANTLY out and about in the street, running errands, meeting people for dinner, and partying. I am usually quite the homebody. But somehow, here in HK, not one night goes by that I stay in, even on a school night (yes, since I am a teacher and work in a school, I refer to weeknights as school nights).
This week alone I have been out every night of the week. So much for getting to be early. Monday I went to the gym and then went out to eat with people. Tuesday, I went to a “quiz night” at a local pub. Wednesday, I went to a meetup.com club for Spanish speakers (don’t want to lose my Spanish now that I’m no longer living in Mexico). Thursday night I went with a friend to look for an apartment, then out for a drink at a bar downtown. Tonight, Friday, I tag along with a bunch of work friends to a Mongolian restaurant after work. I am just getting home.
I would rest this weekend but it appears that this weekend will be super busy- it’s my birthday on Sunday and I have a good feeling that I will be going out to celebrate. After all, that’s one of the reasons that i’m in HK!

Well, Happy Birthday to you!!!!
Sounds like your decision to move to HKG has been a great one so far. Keep living it up as I will live vicariously thru you until I get myself to Germany and can live out my dreams.
Happy bday! How are your students? What ages are they? What fun activities do you do with them?
wow! HK sounds fun! don't stop 'til you drop! 😀
That’s an awesome point
I was just telling my friend about that.
Why is it I always really feel like you do?
