• They celebrate on 24th Dec, no wonder all my friends are wishing the Germans Merry Christmas today.

• Feliz Navidad!!! we also celebrate the 24th! the best memories of my life are from this time of the year in Colombia. It is not the same in the US even with my whole family here. There is something about south america where christmas time is party time. it is too quiet here. so, the plans are gifts and dinner at mid night at my parent's house – no dancing tonight.

  @Emily in Chile: Merry Xmas to you too! Just checked out your White Christmas post and have to report that due to unseasonably warm weather, there isn-t any snow in Berlin! I think I'm happy about that though hee hee. And 'Liebling' and I definitely had a good time 🙂

  @Catalina: Merry Christmas! I wonder how many countries celebrate on the 24th? It was the same in France. I would love to spend Xmas with a latin American family- no doubt in my mind that it would be a dance fest!!
