Going to Thailand in three days…

• I would book ahead…maybe a couple days or so…found out the hard way and i ended up calling all the hostels in the lonely planet..finally there was a no show and i got their res! shoot off an email or give them a call…Have a good time! thailand is one of my faves! can't wait to see pics!

• canadense: luckily my friend ended up reserving accomodation in the nick of time! we are staying in a really nice hotel that is relatively cheap, thank goodness! tahnks for the recommendations though!

• Where are you headed in Thailand? If you’re planning on the beaches in the south, we’re unfortunately little help. But, if you’re coming up north to Chiang Mai, we can certainly give you some ideas!

    I’ll be travelling to Bangkok September 30 to October 3rd and then to Chiang Mai and Chiang Rai October 7-12. Would you recommend accommodation in these places? I’m interested in a hotel in a good location and safe and comfortable.
