I’m in Germany for the holidays!
After over 20 hours in transit (it seemed like forever!), I’m comfortably installed in Mama Liebling’s cozy flat in Berlin, where I’ll be spending Christmas and New Year’s. While it’s unseasonably warm here, the Christmas decorations in the city have more than made up for the un-Christmaslike temps. A short stroll with Liebling and his dad along Kufürstendamm, one of Berlin’s most famous avenues, yielded the following:
Stunning, no? I love how elegantly done the lights are — mostly strings of white bulbs. I can’t wait to check out more decorations over the coming days.
Is your city all decked out for the Christmas season? Are you a fan of the lights?

We’re not as decked out in Abu Dhabi, but we have a little something going. I can’t wait to hit the Christmas Markets next year.
Cute Couple in a beautiful city!
I can hardly tell it’s Christmas at all here in Bali. Some of the restaurant staff wears Christmas hats and there are a few trees left and right, but other than that it’s just a regular day… Very different!
Where is the “Energiewende”?
Aww. You guys look fabulous together. I hope you like the lights in Berlin? It’s really a lovely sight to see. I’d love to meet you one day as you are a girl after my heart. Enjoy Xmas in Berlin!
P:S: Oneika, I’m loving your hair. I know how it is. Sigh!
Great pictures; it looks beautiful. I’ve always wanted to visit Germany during the xmas season. Maybe next year? Looks like you’re having fun – awesome pics!
Wonderful views on that!
