For this reason, I’m excited to announce a giveaway that combines these joys in life. I’ve partnered with Virgin to tell you about their latest contest– one which will allow a lucky winner and a guest to attend the Edinburgh Fringe Festival.
For those not in the know, the Edinburgh Fringe Festival is a pretty big deal. Reputed as the largest arts festival in the world, it’s held yearly during the month of August and features musical acts from all over the globe. Virgin Money Travel Insurance is running a giveaway for two people to win a trip to take part in the festivities.
The booty is enticing. The winner and a guest of their choosing will receive:
- A pair of return tickets from London Heathrow to Edinburgh (August 31st-September 2nd on the Virgin Atlantic Little Red fleet);
- Two nights stay in the prestigious George Hotel; and
- Two tickets for the Edinburgh Festival Fireworks Concert taking place on September 1st.
Convinced yet? Picture it. Sun. Music. The rolling green hills of bonny Scotland. A random bagpiper or three serenading you as you take in an ale on the Royal Mile.

To enter, all you need to do is go to the competition’s website and fill in your personal details, easy peasy. Note: You must be a UK resident aged 18 or over to be eligible. The competition runs until August 9th and the winner whose name is randomly drawn will be contacted by Virgin. I’m hoping it will be one of you. Good luck!

I’ve entered! Scotland is beautiful.
I was so excited until I saw the UK resident rule! I would have gotten myself out there just to go 🙁 I wish there was an ‘airfare not included’ stipulation instead.
